Temperature of love (from the same writer) had such great fast-talking banter which I loved. Guess what? Record of Youth is even better! I’m a very happy person.

I hope it doesn’t take a turn like ToL did though. It was hard for me to finish that one.

I had to stop it when the mothers started getting involved. I like the moms in this one though. Even Hye-hyo’s who is adorable pulling ALL the strings. I surprisingly don’t hate her.

Oh someone pointed this out too. I always wondered if there’s sth about the writer’s dialogues because they seemed different. So many things get lost in translation, I noticed they were fast paced but maybe they sound different too in Korean.

Am I right thinking that TOL had way better subbers?

ToL was carried by viki and I think Viu (I can’t remember if DF had it, would have to check) – there’s definitely a world of difference between those subs and Netflix’s. I would really like to know the process of netflix subbing, man. They are so loveless. And my appreciation that they exist at all is somewhat limited by the fact that they exist because they killed the competition XD

like if you’re going to kill the competition, don’t replace it with sub-par material?

Don’t we have someone on the inside of Netflix (aka @javabeans) that can find these things out? Would any minions be able to sub and get paid for it?
