We were both new to the school, on the same “team” (our grade was divided into 4 sections) had all classes together and were also both very tall for our ages. We just naturally started hanging out and eventually became best friends.

We were the total-opposites! I remember being the shy-type of girl, being quiet in the corner of our classroom then suddenly this bright-loud girl was talking to me, asking me when will I ever open my snackbox! Haha! I was shocked at first, then awkwardly shared my snack that time. I remember her claiming me as her bestfriend from then on and I believe that was the day we started as bffs! up til today! *hope it helps Mani-chan! cheers!

I met one of my good friends the summer before I started my Freshman year in high school (we did not attend the same middle school). I met her during a summer enrichment program and I immediately disliked. I felt that she was too sarcastic and snobbish. I never saw her again until we started high school; we’ve been friends ever since 🙂
My other friend I’ve known since elementary school and I honestly cannot recall how we met (it’s been too long!).

Having your friend as your desk partner or sitting in front or behind you.. you chatter, share food, then start exchanging pencil boxes, and then I guess slowly slowly become good friends… exchanging pencil boxes was in lower school actually for me. 😛 A few desk partners did become my gopro friends back then. Umm in middle school I met my best friends through the clubs or hobbies we were involved in. There was a bit of bouncing from one friend group to the other until we found the group of friends that became best friends until the end of high school. We were friends with people who we travelled with to school and back like the same school bus.

We were luckily seated next to each other in a music class full of misfits (those who didn’t study an instrument or join a choir).
