I think he just meant that, even though the Supreme Prosecutors Office wasn’t supposed to do criminal cases, he’d picked someone from his team so that he could keep an eye on things. I’m not sure about this, but Lee Yeon-jae seemed to be implying that SM had been chosen because his Season 1 experience made him ideal for turning the tables on Hanjo. I interpreted Woo’s reply to her question as an attempt to reassure Yeon-jae that he had no intention of attacking Hanjo.
But generally, yes I agree Woo still believes he can just whisk SM off the case.
I’m curious as to what makes WTH to the upper echelon of the prosecution pinnacle – even KSH shows what it takes and i don’t doubt a bit about Choi Bit’s credentials.
