omg hi! i am so glad i checked. yes i would love it. thank you for sharing; i have never heard of her? i desperately need to learn more about black filmmakers in the diaspora.
Yay! I’m not a filmmaker. My specialty lies more in sculpture/painting. She teaches at my university and I just happened to take an art history class this semester on contemporary African art that includes this book. I liked it a lot! It introduces a lot of new ideas for me since I truly have no background in film or contemporary African art. She talks a lot about radical black theories and third cinema, NGOs’ interference in the cultural production in Congo, and her work with Yole!Africa in this book.
i can totes send u my pdf copy via email. are u on discord or other platforms that i can msg u privately?
