Age of Youth S1: Insights

Yehey! Finally done with this beautiful story of friendship, love and struggles of basically the youth. Youth is defined by Webster/Merriam as the time of life when one is young esp the period between childhood and maturity. In this show, our characters’ had one point in time asked when is one considered mature? Is it someone who is in a relationship, one who is in college, one who has future plans or perhaps one who already earns for him/herself.

I love this show as it didn’t shy away from difficult topics on suicide, sex, prostitution, sexual harrassment esp in workplace, abuse in all forms and what not? Because these things happen IRL. The writing (aside from a wonderful OST!) was so unique, I am so amused!

I literally cried, got mad and laughed like crazy with these girls (esp crazy, whacko Song Ji Won — you are one crazy cookie I want to drink, party and loook for guyszzz with you 😂!!)! 🥰🥰
How each of them went through awkward getting-to-know-each-other stage to the ride-or-die housemates! I especially love the grouphugs 🤗🤗🤗

The final episode was an open-ended one. I love how things were left to the viewers to imagine how these girls would face life, because we know that what they’ve been through wasn’t easy one but surely will make them more stronger for the coming days (You can do it Jin Myung, Yi Na)! I am especially rooting for Ye Eun! Well, I’ll be rooting for these 4 girls from Belle Epoque 🥳🥳
