Dear Beanies,
I was wondering if you have watched any good cdrama recently. I’m really craving to watch a good period drama and kdramas are so underwhelming nowadays. So I though perhaps I need to pick a cdrama… have you watched The Rise of Phoenixes (2018), does it worth investing my time for 70 episodes? Any other recommendation?

    I’ve tried “The Rise of Phoenixes” and I will say that it’s a reeeaaaaally, reeeeeaaaally, reeeeaaaally slow burn type of drama that requires a lot of time and a really good attention span 😅😅 Both of those things (a lot of time and a longer attention span) were things I did not really have when I chose to watch it, so I, personally, did not get past Episode 10 lol But you should definitely give it a try. I imagine that if you watched “Nirvana In Fire” and liked it, you will like this one, too

    The Rise of Phoenixes is absolutely amazing!! It’s my top cdrama along with Nirvana in Fire. An absolute masterpiece.
