p/s: Need help with the folk tale characters. Who is that green ahjumma and who/what happened to taluipa’s son? Are they even based on folk tales? I’m somewhat familiar with snail bride tale but that’s it 😂
Yes! I also tried googling that green ahjumma and the son (Bok-gil?), but came up empty-handed.
I’m also happy with the pace picking up and the creepiness coming back. Those angry zombie ghosts freaked me the F out, and I loved episode 8 all the more for it.
If they’re going with noble idiocy, I’m at least glad that they’re (hopefully!) getting it out of the way by episode 8 – the preview for episode 9 leaves me to believe that all paths may come back together again relatively quickly. Let’s get this motley coalition together and fight some giant snake evilness and more zombies and whatever other creepy stuff is lurking in the forests of Korea!
