I am not sure about the quality of “music” here, Mamamoo seems to have been pushed into the pop frame. but im all there with the social frustration & need to escape the routine!
Actually, RBW now lets the gurls decide the direction of their music lot more compared to their early days. I personally loved their jazz inspired music more.
The 4 seasons album, the early Mr. Anonymous, Piano Man, Yes I am remain my favorite. But I guess this genre which is hip hop/pop/alternative is more what they personally prefer. Starry Night, Paint Me, Windflower I liked that album but it was also pushing the girls too much in one year.

I also think their older stuff shows off their vocals more but *shrugs* not much in kpop these days satisfies me anyway :/
