Those of you who watch dramas on the other sites on phone, what measures (ad blockers etc) do you take to keep your phone safe from viruses? I do know what can be done on a laptop but does anyone risk using them on the phone?
Thanks! I see it’s an extension. Is it harmless, how has your experience been with it? Can I access sites like d*amacool without worrying about my phone getting invaded with viruses? Sorry these are too many questions, I’ve had a bad experience on my laptop and don’t want to put my phone at any risk 😅
Ublock, Adblock & Adblock Plus are all reliably reported safe.
To safely access sites that must not be named, you need one of them, plus good internet security software. It’s best if you can take the time to go thru the settings on the security software, browsers & Windows itself and try to tighten things up — but tweak things one at a time, test and take notes because you might break something.
Example – change “Data Execution Prevention” to apply to everything, not just the “essential” things Windows defaults to. This is well hidden under the Control Panel (not the new-style Settings)
I use Adblock on my computer.
I don’t use it on my phone or tablet, but I have Apple devices, I know they aren’t totally safe, but I’ve never had any problem.

Suggest using the Firefox app (and adding blockers etc to it)
