I wish he would be selfish just this once and admit to her about his true feelings for her. Which makes me feel he might step down as their mentor which makes me doubly sad. He is also in the dark with Halmoni’s failing eyesight while Do-san who she knew for a bit, knows before Ji-pyeong who considers her as family. His storyline is heartbreaking man, his inability to express his feelings is what’s going to cost him in the end :((
The choice not to tell her about his feeling is never his from the beginning: It’s grandma’s. Because he loves grandma so much as she loves him unconditionally (but less than Dal-mi), JP will choose her over his love for Dal-mi. We saw that clearly in this episode, and that’s why he is SML.
This is so heart-breaking. If he got a chance to fight fairly in this love race and he lost, I would have nothing to complain. But man, the fact that he isn’t allowed to tell her his feeling is just.. 😔😔😔
I haven’t seen Ep 10 yet :O He’s presented as this prickly grump guy, but he’s further from that. He’s indebted to Halmoni, because she’s the only who didn’t abandon him. I think it’s so sad imo, at least put up a good fight and put your feelings on the line. It may not work out, but I think that adding that element here could ‘spice’ up the romance.
Omg, totally feel you on your last sentences!! If he put up a fair fight, I would be like man at least you tried! But here, it feels like easy defeat, he’s the one who made DS his wing-man, and it’s all lead to DS finally being his true self around DM. “But man, the fact that he isnโt allowed to tell her his feeling is just..” Ditto, utter heartbreak. 😔😔
My heart stopped a beat with this scene, with the reveal of Dal-mi being there as well. Is this scene a new beginning for Han Ji-pyeong and Seo Dal-mi or the end for them?

But why is she standing in the middle of the street? I kept thinking TOD was going to make an appearance. 😳

but she still doesn’t know he likes her.. all she knows is that do san likes her..
so even if he is the original writer of the letters, he is still not someone who is romantically inclined towards her or vice versa
