Totally agree. Most characters are just plot devices. Only DoSan and JiPyeong have some consistency, and even DoSan is like two characters in one: the adorable and cute nerd, and the nonsensical ML.
DalMi is just the trophy they will get (DoSan will get), but has no growth or meaning besides being the one they fight for.
And InJae is such a wasted opportunity.

I feel liek Start Up could have been much better had it been more character driven. The writer squandered a great opportunity there
