I’m late to this roundup. 2020 had some really great dramas but all the blame is on the year, that I could hardly finish 4. Or maybe it’s just my attention span. Well still. Favorite boys goes to:
Im Eun seob (When the weather is fine) Chan Hyuk (My Unfamilar Family).
Kudos to Im Eun Seob for being a breakthrough for silent, introspective, caring male leads. Thanks for telling me that a good life can be lived with your loved ones as long as we are aware of it.
And Chan Hyuk made me fall for Kim Ji Suk for the first time. I could never understand his appeal and thought he suits second lead better. But for me he still hadn’t reached the best role. He shone as Chan Hyuk. This is by far the best and natural friends to lovers transition I have seen in dramas and KJS inhaled his role. It’s pretty apparent from the wall that everyone liked these two.
You’ve explained both character so well!! I feel exactly the same way, specially for ChanHyuk. I never shipped him with EunHee but then, by episode 11 I think they totally bought me. It was there and I could believe their love story and I’ve never squeed so much with a confession!
