Last post before going on a DB hiatus in a few days

Looking back at 2019’s end, we wondered what 2020 and the new decade would look like :
2020 became a harsh proof that reality is more makjang than dramas 😞

Since we’re somehow reaching 2020’s end, I hope that we’ll take a deep breath, pat ourselves on the back and say “you did a good job”.

I don’t know if my hopes for my year-end celebrations will be granted, but for sure those celebrations will be different for everyone compared to the last few years.
However, despite them being different, I hope your celebrations will still be joyful and warm like this heat-resistant snowman 🙃

    Oh, I missed you! I knew you’d take a hiatus because I remember you doing this around the holidays but I came a little late!

    I wish you happy holidays, Kudo. I don’t know what the situation is in your country, whether the lockdown is over, whether you’ll be able to see your family, whether you’ll have to celebrate it alone, I just wish you’ll be happy in whatever way you spend your Christmas, and remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve it, you made it through such a tough year, you did good!

      lockdown was over so I spent my holidays with my family 🙂 , but we’re still under curfew
      (… with hints of a 3rd lockdown if things get too worse :/ )

        Oh, Kudo, I’m glad you got to spend time with your family, that is what holidays are all about! I hope things get better soon for all of us ( there is talks of curfews and a lockdown here too, don’t really know what to expect!)

      Hi 🙂 , a little update just to say I finally gave in and joined the discord Beanies.
      There are many servers with different themes, one for Cdrama, one for Kdrama, one for Kmusic, one for Cmusic and so on 🙂 .
      There’s some drama quiz game, every 2 weeks, which is really funny (but drama slump doesn’t help like how slow I am at typing answers 😅).
      Last but not least, there’s a jukebox to listen to music together and also sing together ^^ , kinda sang a few songs yesterday with some Beanies , it was so much fun 🙂 .
      I’m not that often on that new site, but was thinking of how great it’d be if you were there too 😉 . I know you’re quite busy but it’s really fun and I’ll gladly sing a song or two for you (or mumble along for some tbh 🤭).

        I’m tempted, I admit. Beanies have been telling me to join for ages now and I’m still kind of apprehensive about it.. I’m just afraid it will take a lot of my time, which, these days I don’t seem to have much of, LOL!

        But aww.. if I ever do, I’ll hold you to your offer of singing me a song or two, you will have to then!

          some Beanies that you think aren’t active anymore are actually all day long on discord x) !
          it can take lots of time like it can take just 5min to check notif’ , it depends on you . As for me, Friday night I spent some time backreading, it was funny, you can’t expect what kind of conversation they have on the cdrama server (it often goes out of scope of cdrama x) ). On another day, I would join in for a set amount of time, on another one , I’ll be like ok I’m free but timezone makes the other off discord because they’re sleeping x). It’s fun, really, you can join just to see how it goes and comes back later (or just lurking and joining when some are playing music 🙂 ).
          Singing will be my pleasure , not gonna run away from this promise 🙂 .

            A lot of beanies seem to be going off to discord and I can understand it does sound a lot of fun. I will let you know if I ever want to take up you offer!
