2020 Round Up Day 17 – the one that made you emotional
I don’t generally get too emotional watching dramas, but the closest I came this year was definitely I’ll Come to You When the Weather is Fine. It was classed as a “healing drama,” and while I don’t know that I was emotionally healed while watching it, both me and my anxiety were definitely emotionally invested in the throes of lockdown – to the extent that I remember hitting play on episode 16 and saying out loud, “Do not f*** this up, Hae-won. Get your sh*t together.”
(PS – sorry I’m late on this one. Yesterday was…chaos.)
Another drama was mentioned here today that people who like this one might like – 12 Nights. It’s a slower contemplative drama that takes place over 12 nights spaced out over many years. It’s well acted, not a typical K-drama and has 12 episodes.
