The annoying thing about this actor is that he almost ALWAYS plays the “violent inconsiderate father” role, which makes me dislike him A LOT because he’s almost too good at it.
I hadn’t even watched the ep when I wrote the 1st comment. and now that I have, urgh. this father – if we can call him that – is pure non-recyclable garbage.
I stared in disbelief when I realized that the show very subtly implied that the golf games her father was dragging his celebrity pro-golfer daughter to, were more than just golf. he was essentially pimping Eun-Bi out to gross old perverted men.
I was on the edge of my seat, ready to throw something at my screen as he violently screamed at Mi-Joo, for fear that he might hit her.
This is one of the few times when I have truly been 100% behind our awesome Candy wanting to break up with the awkward chaebol. This man’s father attempted to make her feel like trash, like a 2nd class citizen, over dating his son. When Mi Joo said that she values herself above everyone else, I felt that. I teared up. This ain’t no damsel in distress. She has no need for Seon-Gyeom, except that he is where her affections lie. And why have her pride trampled upon so mercilessly over love? Her tears really killed me.
Of course, I also feel terrible for Seon-Gyeom. It must be a living nightmare having a parent like that, willing to ransack everything in his son’s life that doesn’t fit in his vision of political ascent. total trash. I have no idea how his bright & sunny wife is still with him.

That was breathtakingly horrible. For a while I thought there might be a redemption arc for Dad, but I felt like it got dark with him this episode.
