2019-2021 K-drama Summaries: They have a strong beginning, however somewhere in the middle (ep 5-9) they lose spark and fall into the most cliche tropes!! I really forced myself to finish Itaewon Class this weekend, I though there should be a reason it won Drama of the Year!! But nope, it turned out to be another overhyped drama with the most boring love triangle (square, pentagon?), black-and-white characterization, over-exaggerated plotlines, etc.! The only saving grace was the acting of the 4 main characters that kept me watching!
