A month ago, GOT7 left JYPE and started signing with separate labels. They said they would still be GOT7 and that they would still make music together but there was some uncertainty as to how that would work and when it would happen. But my boys always keep their promises and now they’re back, bigger and better than ever before 💚 Warner Music is releasing their new song Encore about how GOT7 will always sing for their fans 💚 It’s so nice to see all their individual companies promoting the song as well. Even though we only got one day’s notice, the song got 52 #1s on itunes and it’s trending at #12 in the US on Youtube 😊
The lyrics are so perfect. They are saying they will always sing for us no matter what and asking us to stay by their side 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
The MV (executive produced by Mark) starts out with Jackson singing alone in black and white but immediately turns to color when he enters the room with the other members 💚 Most of the MV is GOT7 just being themselves, hanging out, recording, goofing off 💚 I love that they pause the song before the last chorus in order to tell us that they are going to keep their promise and that they will always sing for us 😭💚😭💚😭💚😭💚😭💚😭 After that, the MV continues with shots from their world tour and includes the fans shouting “Encore! Encore!” (It’s going to be so confusing at concerts from now on. They won’t know if we’re asking for an encore or the song Encore 😂😂😂)
One other thing I want to point out, is that during Mark’s solo rap at the table, you can see he is wearing his GOT7 necklace from You Are era (during You Are era, each member got a triangular necklace with their own symbol on it but the necklaces come together to form a heptagon just like the necklaces in the You Are MV) 💚
I love my boys so much and I’m so proud and happy to be their fan. I know now, this isn’t the end for them. This is just the beginning 💚

Also…the first thing I noticed is that they aren’t hiding their tattoos. I love that they are free to be themselves now.
I know all fans were so worried, but when Taec left JYP, he kept promoting 2PM with them, never quitted. I had faith GOT7 would find another producer even if members worked for different agencies.
Has 2PM had a comeback since Taec left? I thought they hadn’t done much as a group lately. I don’t really keep up with them but I love some of their old songs and was hoping to see them have a comeback.
Well, they’ve announced a comeback when Junho is discharged in March. And they keep posting videos in their YouTube channel. They haven’t released any song or album as a group because all the members have been serving since 2017, but their 2021 comeback is official. I’m so excited!!!
