Happy that @greenfields is semi-back on DB! That post got me thinking and wanted to write as well.
As cheesy as it sounds, BTS came to my life when I needed them the most. They’re my companion. The music and all that content, especially the music. Yes, those contents could be overwhelming at times, but when that happens, I usually take a pause and watch it at my own pace. I don’t have to be as updated as I was when I started. BTS also allowed me to meet friends that I could not possibly imagine meeting. Greenfields lives a thousand miles away but we met to attend a BTS concert last 2019 and has been such a good friend. It’s not just her but many more others I’ve met because of BTS.
Till Spring Day comes, I wish each Beanie a happy weekend ahead!
We did meet to attend that concert! It was such a leap of faith for me too – I booked tickets to singapore only on your word that your friend would give us the tickets hahahah <3 <3 But I never doubted it, after all, this is a community. ^^
I just love yours & Green’s post.
And I can see how sincere & clear it is. There’s no sugarcoating or overhyping & it’s just an honest expression of your love for their music & ofc i can see & feel it. ^^
It’s so fantastic. This reminds me of my reenactment friends. In 2014 I decided to visit some friends that had helped me so much during my preparation of the Gettysburg trip the year before. We were supposed to meet there but they couldn’t make it, so I promised I would go the following year. And I did. I arrived in Atlanta and spend two days on my own and they came to pick me up. We had never seen each other but it was perfect. I was their guest for 15 days and they opened not only the doors of their home but they hearts. I consider them my family. Back home people thought I was crazy, but I knew I would be home with them.
