One year ago, my personal lockdown started. I had just signed a new job contract a week prior when they announced the first lockdown on the same evening, but the employer allowed me to start work he next Monday anyway. The pandemic was not having it, and after my first week on the job I trudged back home towards unemployment again.
Exactly one year later I am struggling to get used to my job. But I have one now. An occupation in all meanings of the word, a monthly wage, and so much more. I am grateful to have fulfilled that dream after 5 years, but it pains me that I have to sacrifice this paradise for it. That is what you get when you spend lockdown 2020 on here 24/7 and experience withdrawal symptoms😅
…Is it obvious that I have not seen any K-drama’s in 3-4 months?😆
I know you have been struggling and hope you everything goes smoother as times goes by. This has been a rough year. We’ve been stoled 2020 and I feel we will be stoled 2021 as well. Even so, every time I see one of your posts I’m happy. You make the world a brighter place.
Aww, I’m touched to know that my weekly grumping cheers you up!😳 I do fear that 2021 will be similar to last year unfortunately, I guess some days we deal better than other days. Thank you for your sweet reply!🥰
I’m sorry things have been so hard for you, Turtie, but I’m glad you keep checking in here and sharing what’s going on. Little by little is okay – and sometimes that little is barely a millimeter, and sometimes the little is just holding your ground. May those brighter days ahead speed toward you like light! All the best.
Thank you! I am trying to survive day by day, week by week, until calmer times arrive. 🙂 I had a bit more trouble dealing with it last weekend, I guess. 🙂

Ignore me, I am a nostalgic mess.

I do hope you (and others) are finding some levity somehow during all this. Hope you find some kdramas to watch soon too!
