Finished Just Between Lovers and I’m at a loss for words. Gang Doo and Moon Soo managed to break my heart several times, but I’m happy that they found solace in their relationship and they can heal their tragic past wounds together. Throughout the show I just wanted to give them a hug and say ‘everything’s gonna be alright’. They truly deserve all the happiness in the world.

PS: every girl deserves a guy who says “…how could you be prettier as time goes by” 🥺🥺🥺

He was so sweet and a true gentleman! Something I find very rare in dramaland. And he was sensitive and aware of MS’s feelings. Absolutely love him! There has yet to be a male lead that outshines Kang Doo.

One of the many things I love about Gang Doo is that he always, every single time, held MoonSoo by her hand. Not a single wrist grab. He was always so delicate to her.

You’re making me want to rewatch 🥺. I love JBL so much, even after all this time.

Is this one good? I think the dialogue sounds a bit cheesy…

Totally recommend this! It sounds cheesy, but their relationship is far from being cheesy. ML is totally boyfriend goals 🥺

I heard many Beanies also said it was good. (Don’t tell anyone) I was reluctant because I’m not drawn to Junho that much.

*gasp* you’re saying this to someone who adores Junho lol but jokes aside this drama was actually my introduction to Junho. I was reluctant to start it as I am with many idol actor dramas. I had not an ounce of familiarity with him but his performance entirely won me over. His portrayal of PTSD was phenomenal and so nuanced. Won Jinah is also great. But ya’ know, it might not be for you and that’s totally okay too. 🙂

*teehee* I realized somehow that there were a lot of Junho fans here, so I didn’t want to say this. I know some people just don’t like Kim Seon-ho, too, but that’s ok. I respect your love for Junho.
Noted about the PTSD thing; I’m not sure I’m ready to handle that. But if I ever do, I’ll think about your recommendation and perhaps try it. 🙂

@mmmmm I understand. There are other actors that are raved about by beanies but I just can’t bring myself to like them…I tend to keep it to myself lol. But I love your love for KSH because I also love KSH haha.

Just think that this drama was the one who got into Junho to so many beanies.
Don’t watch it if you’re not convinced, but it’s really worth it.

M, they are not cheesy at all.
As I told you once, this drama is about two wounded people who learn to live instead of just surviving.
The way they heal and care for each other and the way you see their relation grow is one of the best I’ve seen in dramaland. I’m not going to lie, it will hurt in the way, and you will cry, but he warmth it will give you, makes it up for all the tears.
I won’t say it’s Navillera, but I can assure is that kind of healing drama.

Hi Eaz. I don’t know what got to me, but I am feeling a bit tired of romance dramas these days. I have heard rave reviews about this one, and I’ll make sure I give it a go someday. I normally drop a drama quickly if it doesn’t match my mood at that moment, so we’ll see. Anyway, thanks again for the recommendation! ❤️
