Has anyone checked out So Not Worth It on Netflix? Youngjae is starring in it and did an OST for it so I want to check it out but I don’t have Netflix. I wanted to see if beanies thought it was any good before wasting money on a subscription 😅
At least I can listen to the awesome OST for free 😄
You might see if they offer a trial run, I don’t know if they still do that, but I’ve noticed I’ve been using Netflix alot more in recent months since they’ve been adding more Korean content, Run On and some others that are exclusive to Netflix
I checked and they donโt do free trials anymore. Itโs 8 or 9 dollars a month now but I really donโt want to give them my money anyways so Iโll just stick with viki 😄
I was watching a clip and heard the laughtrack and thought it seemed super awkward. I want to watch it for Youngjae but maybe it’s not really my style. How did my boy Youngjae do?
im 9 episodes (out of 12) in and i’m actually enjoying it.
it starts out quite clunky, but if you can get used to the weird pacing and the laugh track (which gets used way too frequently), the characters are fun, get to be cute quite frequently and occasionally have a handful of nice, quieter moments. The comedy is a little OTT, and part of the cast is a little green, but it looks like theyre having a blast.
I stopped noticing most issues i had with it in the first few episodes. I’m not sure if it’s because it got better, or because I got used to it, but i’m just glad that whatever happened, it worked.
It’s 12 short 30 minute episodes, so you don’t really lose much if you end up not liking it.
My review might be slightly biased because I adore Park Sewan, but overall I’d say it’s a quick, light and harmless watch. I say if you like Youngjae, it’s worth checking out.
I saw the first episode and would echo that the laugh track is super distracting and it would be so much better without it. But Youngjae is actually really cute in it and is probably the only one that actually looks really natural here. Netflix is how I was introduced to kdramas, and thereโs a ton more content now than there ever was, so I think itโs worth the subscription. But if you have a friend or family member with it already, you may be able to borrow it to see f itโs worth getting.

I watched two episodes. I’d say don’t waste your money. It’s so not worth it.

I don’t blame you. I’ve been just subscribing to Iqiyi sporadically depending on what’s showing

The title is rather appropriate lol. It reminded me of a Nickelodeon sitcom or something, which just isn’t my thing.

Yes! Thatโs a good description. It was like Saved by the Bell Korean university edition.

I watched the whole thing. I liked it, but I think I’m the only one here. 😂 If cheesy sitcoms with laugh tracks aren’t your thing, maybe stay away.

He was good! I have to admit, I didn’t know who he was. I thought he was one of the non-Korean actors, haha.

I like Park Sewan too so I was excited to see she’s in it. Now that half of the responses are positive, I might have to try it 😄

I’m glad to hear Youngjae did well! My family used to have Netflix but we cancelled about a year ago.
