What the bloody hell was THAT? The ending just sent the literal opposite message of what it should be saying, what it seemed to be saying at the beginning. Na-bi literally had no growth, no true character development, if she just ends up with Jae-eon again. What the hell is the point of 10+ hours of television if your protagonist doesn’t change? Y’all seriously couldn’t have stuck to the original webtoon ending?? WHY WHY WHYYYY.
Thanks for Sol/Ji-wan though. They were lovely. But you know a show screwed up when even a canonical, wholesome lesbian couple doesn’t make me feel better about the end product.
My exact reaction, LOL. I sat through the last minutes of the finale with an actual snarl on my face.
“But you know a show screwed up when even a canonical, wholesome lesbian couple doesn’t make me feel better about the end product.” Sums it up perfectly.
LOL The ending sets the scene for an ongoing dysfunctional relationship. Very realistic. Cannot express how grateful I am that the whole sorry thing is over.
I fully agree re Nevertheless. While I enjoyed the artistic setting a lot, the ending was deeply flawed. One other positive dimension was that at least it did not do full on queer baiting even if it handled the same sex attraction subplot with as few overt declarations as possible and little physical intimacy.

I think it’s more because I’ve become a serial dropper this year and I don’t want to watch pain.

Sol and Ji-wan deserved the whole show to themselves. Na-bi and Jae-eon can go.

Terrible ending.
Na-bi couldn’t even complete her sculpture without Jae-eon. I hated that even more than the ending.

Oh that made my blood boil. She cannot be her own independent being even in her art. I hate it here.
