My parents started watching Law School to support me but after episode 1, they complained that the camera shots and angles made them dizzy. They also complained a lot about getting confused with the flashbacks and timelines. I told them to stop watching it but they insisted, they wanted to find out why I love it so much. Toward the half of episode 2, they called me again to ask questions and complain. I told them again to just stop watching. This is why I don’t recommend dramas I love because I can’t bear it getting bashed by people I love. I know it’s petty but I don’t see the point of watching and ranting but still watching just to rant. Real life is already stressful enough, just stop watching if you don’t like the drama.

I used to do that too and it’s their choice but I wish they didn’t rant to me cause they know how much I love that show.

This response is almost a month late. Haha!

Your wish is valid. Maybe try communicating to them again? Although a month has gone by (xD) and they might have ready finished watching

I’m not sure why either but I certainly have been known to keep watching SO I can rant 🤷🏼

They can rant all they want just not to me cause I’m still in love with Law School (although I know and I admit its shortcomings)

I think this is why I downplay my feelings on dramas, or anything I really love in general, with close fam and friends. Like I get that we might have diff opinions, but keep them away from me especially if you are going to bash it!

Right? This is exactly how I feel. It’s been a month and they’re still watching and I told them off so I think it’s fine now.
