Now that my dusik heart has had time to calm down from all the dimples attack and Mina’s extreme aegyo, i’m sharing a few thoughts on HomeCha.

1. This is really just a story about two people getting together and i’ve come to accept the writer is determined to drag out Dusik’s history in the interest of having a “central plot”
2. Despite the trope-filled hits & misses, when this writer hits, it’s done really well. Fr ep 12 alone, i love that they made fun of the very cliche romantic scenes. Then, there was that amazing line embracing HYe Jin’s financial independence but my favorite was when Hwa Jung told her son I Jun that they were celebrating his efforts and hardwork, not the prize he won itself.
3. It’s not second-lead syndrome, but the love triangle was crafted so thoughtfully, i’m actually rooting for all 3 to be together happily ever after.
4. Some might call it bias, but i’m really enjoying Seon Ho in this. All the micro expressions he has esp around Mina is such a treat to watch. Their chemi is incredible and in the hands of a better storytelling i bet their romance could be off the charts.

We still have 4 episodes to go and I’m keeping my fingers crossed all will be good. Before that, bring on the impending angst 13!

Let’s talk abt Biased.. I am for Seon Ho and his exceptional acting power in that tiny ring of romance and cute all around. And am watching this show just for my Dimpled Duo nothing more nothing less.. the day it was known that Min Ah and Seon Ho will be in it.. I was sure ill watch it till the end no matter what story it will have.
I am disappointed with many things but at same time I am impressed with few (read many many many) which I dint even think I would be.
Love Triangle is one of them, then HJs story of how she dint let her husband known why she Divorced.
But my biggest takeaway from this show is Halmounis friendship… those three ladies make me dream of having such close knited friendship even in those sundown days with few of my girls (may be 1 that’s also fine)…
    .
Story wide this show has really nothing new if you start thinking but at same time it gives you 90 minutes of pure fun, laughter, lessons and entertainment episode per episode.. and I am not complaining at all.

Hear2! In the hands of lesser favored actors i may not be as invested, but i adore both of them so.. yeah. As i said, there’s hits & misses and boy some of the misses do irk me..but in the end, it’s a summer beachside romcom with the cutest bickering dimpled duo..need i say more? Love conquers all 💘

The drama is not perfect but it’s like a warm hug to me. The sense of community makes me smile, and I love the friendships and of course, Seon-ho and Min Ah and their chemistry. I really am enjoying it.

Completely agree, this show is truely about nothing but somehow manages to feel like a warm hug.
My love for KS and SM has grown so much. They both excel at micro expressions.

Your point 2❤ I love this drama just for the way it lays down the social messages in a light way, without being preachy.
