About to watch tonight’s ep. of Lost.
All week I’ve been thinking about how the show invites us to gaze into human despair and pain and fear. One of the most enjoyable aspects of this show for me is that it doesn’t really focus on the morality of our characters per se. In a way, everyone’s compromised, but no one is exempt from the particularities of (their) life that can make life long and lonely and painful. There are antagonists, but even then, most of them have their fair share of grievances to deal with that we ourselves can empathize with to a certain extent. I really like that.

Looking forward to tonight’s episode!
