    Oh! I haven’t seen this week’s episode yet but @beantown you got me thinking.
    O/T. The last ten minutes of episode 8 of NAVILLERA is some of the best kdrama television I have seen this year. NAVILLERA is my favorites of the year.
    Big D&G fan here. Looking forward to episode 11 tonight.

      The ending scene of ep8 of Navillera will go down the memory lane as one of the best Kdrama moments for me.

      I agree with you about the ending scene of episode #8, but I always see it as a companion piece or bookend with the gorgeous ending in episode #12. The night, the snow, the distant recollection- so very moving.

        Definitely. Also bookends with the last five minutes of episode 10 when Deok-chul gets out of the car and dances for Chae-rok across the tracks.
        (All those scenes were wonderful. Along with the direction, acting and music, the editing was superb. Fond memories already and it is only 6-7 months since NAVILLERA aired.)

        Ditto for me – I love how the three dancing scenes mirror each other and soar emotionally.

    Back to D&G, the ending scene in Ep 11 and the son-and-father scene in Ep 12 are both so very good. Both said a lot about the notion of a family.
