Pic- It’s interesting that Jun-ho is left-handed but writes with his right hand and eats with his left hand.  His character, Yi-san was right-handed.

    Ohh thanks for all this complentary information.

    Also, this is why I admire Junho as an actor. He was practicing how to eat with his left hand since a few months ago to play Yi-san. I haven’t watched episode three yet but I’m waiting for a scene of him eating.

    I asked her (for the sake of science) that kept on reading as she said she stopped by page 80 because she didn’t want to spoil herself.

      Nice. I read that the author was only 17 years old when she started writing the novel.

        I want to be impressed but mostly that’s a little concerning without more context. When did she finish it? Unless she spent 10 years writing it (I mean, my main wips I all “started” before 20 too technically), or is a writing prodigy that’s not the claim most think it is 😂

          She was in her mid to late 20s when she was done, I believe. I don’t think it’s a case of writing parody. I’m not that impressed with Deok Im’s character. It does feel like teenagers interpretations from the 21st century. Maybe I’m too harsh since this is not the first time I’ve seen a sageuk about her life.

            Ah okay. That’s probably a bit more normal of a time period to write a book.

            I think I can see where you’re coming from in that criticism.
            I think it’s done to establish a connection between them but it’s almost quite modern in characteristion and execution of that, isn’t it?
            Probably fortunately for me I have nothing to compare it to.

            Except more immediately, the other sagueks airing, and well… I dropped King’s Affection so that’s how that’s going 🙄.

            *Sigh* I need to read my post before clicking send. My prodigy comment didn’t make any sense on top of misspelling it.
            I don’t know what the real Deok Im’s talents were. In another sageuk (YI SAN), she was a talented artist, making me think that there were no records of her youth, just like most commoner women of that era.
