Hello Yongsital! I have been watching ‘Wok of Love’ but haven’t seen anything else as yet. I am going to catch up though. If you have time, please recommend his good series/films. I can’t easily find Korean films as the Netflix Korean collection as well as Viki’s is pretty execrable in my region but regardless, I am always on the lookout! Thank you kindly!
Oh he’s good there. My ultimate favorite is Just Between Lovers. This is a must watch for all Junho fans. His character interpretation is a raw yet beautiful portrayal of a broken man picking himself up. I don’t know where you live but here in the US it is available on Viki and I belive Netflix was about to premiere it under the title Rain or Shine.
I also really like his antagonist character in Chief Kim.
Yongsital, I have been watching Just Between Lovers and it is everything you said. I love the FL too. I am not ashamed to say it has made me cry a fair bit. I watched another KD this year, When my love blooms, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/When_My_Love_Blooms) which among its themes deals with the indelible trauma resulting from the collapse of a department store in Seoul. Jinyoung and Jeon Sonee are so great in it as the younger version of the main leads. Just sublime.
Glad you’re enjoying it! Won Jin Ah was great in it too and I’m sure this is the role that she started gaining recognition for. I’ve never heard of that drama but I might give it a try. I recently saw Jinyoung in Devil Judge so it’d be interesting seeing him in something else.
