So does Hui Ju end her life or does she move on from her self made prison? She indicated her part in this story has ended but that can mean either her life ends with it or she can finally start over free from burdens. Either way she hasn’t seen hell yet. Good show, great cast, stellar acting….I still haven’t warmed up to Haewon….never will….She started her revenge targeting Lisa, she got her apology because Hui Ju loved Lisa above all else. Her character stayed true to form and pathetic till the end. She literally needed to see her misery reflected on Hui Ju and a stab woulnd to move on. Nope, not quite the Hero. Hui Ju was the most realistic out of everyone. My gut says she’ll survive this. We never will know if Hae Won got her light back….she is alive, she is making art so it is likely but who knows. The biggest collateral damage is Hoe Su and Lisa in all of this. Good show though.

I agree with you about Hae-won, and your observations about her having to see her pain reflected in Hui ju are perceptive.

I began to think about the title of this drama post Ep.6 and even mentioned in Ep. 1-2 Review that Hae Won will become a Hui Ju, one who feels no remorse for shattering other’s happiness.

After the ending, I felt Hui Ju’s self imprisonment closely mirrored Hae Won’s misery during the time WJ disappeared in her life.

So, they both saw a reflection of each other in their lives at the end, which I think was a fitting ending and one that they deserved for building a life out of others’ misery.

OMG I’m trying not to read this. I’ll have to watch it immediately. I’m looking forward to this finishing up. I don’t really care what happens, although they are all on a collision course. Ho ho

I just wrote some stuff about it on my fan wall, and it struck me how generational it was. The children, especially Li-sa were next in line for a whole lot of unforgiveness – so messed up.

It is….Lisa especially….she will both resent and adore her mother. Hyeon Sung deserves the truth though. This show left me feeling hollow.
