#2021Roundup
Day 2 – ML can’t forget

I did narrow this down to 3, but my top 1 is

Han Geu-Ru (Tang Joon-Sang) from Move to Heaven, because he is the one who made me cry the most this year. TJS portrayal of a person on the spectrum was excellently and sensitively done – without the OTT stereotypical acting that some actors do to portray being different. The (no) eye-contact was on-point, the panic when faced with a different situation, the mismatched facial vs verbal expressions, and the inability to define the loss that he felt. I even got teary-eyed while typing this.

Runner-Ups :
The one who made me laugh – Vincenzo (Song Jong-Ki), a lot had been said about Vincenzo on the fan wall, and I agree to all of them, but aside from Mr. Queen – this show made me laugh the most this year.

The one who made we think – Yang Jong-Hoon (Kim Myung-Min) of Law School. Yangcrates, may have been known to resort to dramatics to get his lessons across, I think that he is the symbol of what law and justice should still be. Law School is the anti-thesis to the slew of vigilante justice shows that came out this year (including Vincenzo, Taxi Driver, Devil Judge, etc) all blatantly giving up on the justice system, and disregarding the law. Yangcrates , on the other hand asserted that while the law is indeed imperfect , justice without law is still not the better option. Its up to the humans who uphold the law to make it synonymous with justice..
