This moment was epic!

Court lady secret army, yes! Love it and find it hilarious at the same time when conspirators go all out (uniforms, throne, marching army, masks) because I start thinking about the practicalities. Like, how does it work – are the ladies marching out of their rooms wearing ninja uniforms and the little masks, or do they change in the back before entering the room?

The reveal of this through one of the Court Ladies telling a story was amazing! I haven’t thought about all those little details but now that you mention it…..🤔

I love it too that they introduced it as a fairy tale… And it is a great propaganda move for the Fairy Queen too, if you stop to think about it

I am sorry but this was ridiculous and I burst out spitting my drink at this.

The concept of a secret, organized society of court ladies is great, but their setup was just…too much to believe in. I always appreciate some good bling but it makes no sense in-universe.

I went wtf at this scene. As much as I like the concept of secret court lady group (like a secret sorority) and their fairy story, the throne decoration and the jail place are too much to believe. How do they get that much money to build those? And where and how do they keep these props secret in the palace lol???

But don’t they do this all the time? In sageuks, the have secret ninja armies in uniform, crowded secret meetings, super conspicuous lairs, etc. Even in modern dramas: I was laughing while watching My Name at the thought that the FL would go through police academy (and all sports trainings, changing rooms, etc) rocking a big ass gangster logo on her chest.
All the bling and grandeur and corporate feel for secret organisations are part of the fun 😋
