I’m so confused by The Red Sleeve. Why/how/when did Bokyeon quit being a court lady and start working at her aunt’s restaurant?! I thought they couldn’t quit being a court lady???
Also, what’s with the three year time jump??? What happened to the assassins? It seems like they never followed up on that and some of them are still loose even though I thought they captured them after the attack???

    Bokyeon was the only one of the 4 friends that was assigned to the King’s palace (as in San’s grandfather’s palace). When the king died, Bokyeon lost her job.
    At least that’s how I understood it.

    I think the time jump was just to skip past the 3 year mourning period. Nothing much happens during that time since many activities are not allowed out of respect to the deceased king. For example, San had to wait after the mourning period to propose to Deokim.

    They said in episode 9 that she was a maid in the King’s court, once he passed away, she must leave the Palace.
