#2021RoundUp

That cute little drama.

There have been many cute little dramas this year, many of you have talked about The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim (I loved this drama a lot, in fact it got one of my beans!), or Would you like a cup of coffee? that received so much love during airing.

These two dramas are an example of how there’s no need of 16 episodes to tell a good story and have interesting characters that can grow as the drama goes on. Good writing works wonders!

My choice is none of those (although I highly recommend them, if you haven’t watched you are missing two gems!). My choice here is Scripting your destiny. Lakes once described it as ”It’s Doom well done” and I can’t agree more: fate, destiny, love, a godish creature that doesn’t know what to do, rules that do apply and one of the best female leads I have seen this year. Joen So Nee portrayed a real CheKyung with all her doubts and strengths, and I discovered Park Sang Nam.

Scripting your destiny is nice. Started watching Love in a Rainless Land, and it strongly reminded me of SYD too (pretty much the same concept)

Does Love in Rainless Land have an alt eng title, or is it a Tdrama I found while searching that had a similar name, Rainless Love in a Godless Land?

I’ve been putting my toe in the other-letter-drama waters, but it’s difficult because there are so many Ks to watch as it is. 🥴

Yes, it’s the same one! Yes, the different titles get confusing. Last year Human Disqualification / Lost took the cake 😂

Thanks for mentioning this one I thought I was on my own! I loved the idea of it and the randomness of the events was funny.
