Didn’t like the ending, which is surprising because it was a happy ending.

I just can’t wrap my head around why they would need to alter Tian Di’s life/memories. Instead it seemed like they made Orad into a lie… because they literally erased all his genuine moments with Tian Di, which are what makes him a real person… when the entire twist was about him being a so-called “lie”.

Why he considers himself a “lie” when everyone else was just created by Kakarayan. He was just created by Kakarayan with fake memories. Which ok, without your fake memories that can mean you never really lived. But once he made memories with Tian Di that doesn’t remain true anymore.
WHICH IS WHY I REALLY HATE THAT HE MESSED WITH HER MEMORIES. YOU JUST ERASED YOURSELF.

Never mind all this time he’s been just messing with her head “for her own good” which after listening to multiple podcasts about domestic abuse just doesn’t sit well. Because if she had been given back all her memories, she could be embarrassed about having speaking to herself over the last few weeks, but she would also have him back which is what she wanted in the first place.
    BAH

Perhaps its the feeling that the Tian Di at the end isn’t actually the heroine of the story. This Tian Di didn’t face the trials throughout the drama. This Tian Di didn’t argue with Orad about not wanting to be the only person left on the planet. Its not the Tian Di who pointed out Orad’s faults to him. Instead the Tian Di at the end is someone who had her lived experience taking away from her to live in an ideal situation where her boyfriend is now keeping the fact he has powers from her. And Tian Di never indicated she ever wanted that, she had just not wanted Orad to disappear. Instead they opted for part of her to disappear? Why? So maybe I’m wrong saying its a happy ending.
