I cannot believe that moai was a statue. In Jeju, there are moais and called them dol hareubangs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dol_hareubang I wondered there was moai in Gwanaksan (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gwanaksan), but unfortunately, moais in Gwanaksan not existed!
The stone statue has been reported stolen by hikers. The statue was popular among couples across the country with the legend that touching her nose will give them a daughter.
