I had no interest in watching All Of Us Are dead because but I’m burned out on Zombies at this point. But like alot of times, this site convinced me to at least check it out 😂. I liked it, thought it was pretty good. Thought they did a good job picking unknowns for it. It definitely was too long though, alot of the middle episodes could of been cut.

I am definitely over zombies but I think what Kdramas do good is the emotional aspects of it. My eyes glazed over for alot of the Zombie action scenes, but I loved the character moments & interactions.

Yay, another one! I really hope the DB staff end up opening a meetup thread to comment on AOUAD! Pretty please, @DBstaff ?
I share most of your thoughts (good acting, too long, strong characters and interactions), and have some of my own – like, I agree that some action scenes were repetitive, but a couple of sequences are awesome and the directing is really strong in giving us a clear view of that massive school building and it’s interconnected parts.
Besides, I could have done without all the outside action except the funny Orange dude and Loony Police officer shenanigans, and Honjo’s dad, but a lot less of him (no offense to Jeon Baeso, he’s awesome).
Loved the teenagers having teenager concerns and reactions in the midst of all the mayhem, I think that it was very well handled. And drama does really well the bits where they learn about the zombies by trial and error, and start cooperating, and in general how they evolve into becoming a cool zombie-killing squad. Also liked it that they made clear the grief of surviving.
Another outstanding point for this drama was the humor. The jokes and visual puns (Orange dude and zombie toddlers 😂) are good and a great relief from all the bleakness.
And I liked Namra! She’s the best superhero kdrama has given us
