My theory is that Heedo x Yijin did end up together but then are now separated in the present or living apart? Or divorced? Yijin being a reporter and not being around may have played a role? Maybe that’s why Min Chae is rebelling with Heedo?

As for the surname, I still wont rule out Yijin changing his surname. Btw does anyone else know what his Mom’s surname is?

Whatever theory is out there, I refuse to think Yijin died. Anything but that…

    Min-chae didn’t seem to recognize Yi-jin in the first photo of the gang, which kills all of my theories.

    I’ll get onboard with anything as long as Yi-jin doesn’t die.

    Older Hee-do bears so little resemblance to younger Hee-do that I’m finding it easy to pretend that they have no relation to each other and our Hee-do and Yi-jin are living happily ever after somewhere.

      Maybe Yijin looks different in the present like heedo? Thats why she didnt recognize him? Lol I am holding on to anything at this point for them to be the end game that I am throwing logic and clues all out of the window!

        Sad part, mom and heedo don’t talk about dad.. as long as it doesn’t mean they don’t talk about BYJ for the same reason in present timeline.. and hee do has a red car 😀

      The daughter doesn’t seem to recognize anyone and that’s really worrying me. When she said you went to the beach with your friends the older Na hee-do was completely blank. She referred to them as ‘those people’ meaning she never met them in the present timeline otherwise she call them as aunt or uncle or something more familiar.

        yup..

        definitely slice of life.. this drama is about nostalgia and how life changes.. i am also dwindling now.. probability of this being a past that defined her youth and is nostalgic but not part of current life became very high
