wait… a season 2?? how can they tell the story and have a season 2………. i’m disheartened to read that the perspective was changed to be more relevant to the american audience… or did i misread that part…

well, i’m looking forward to watching it, regardless… hoping it does justice to the book.
    *fingers crossed*

From what I’ve read, they envision it as a four season show though as of now, it’s only been picked up for the first eight episodes.

No, you are right, according to the reviewer… less focus on her story and more on the contrast between Korean and American cultures. I haven’t read the book, but on the basis of this review, I’m going to read the book and not sully my experience of that with the drama, or maybe decide later.

i totally recommend reading the book – i bought it because i wanted a copy for myself to reread over and over later…
