-Twenty-five,Twenty-one❤️: Loved it!! This was definitely a fun, emotional ride. I think what I loved the most about this drama was the fact that I had something to look forward to. It had been a while since I live-watched a drama and was excited thinking about it. It gave me Reply vibes (which is a good thing for me), especially Reply ‘88, since it focused a lot on family and friendships. So, like a fool, I legit thought we were going to have a husband reveal, like “sike, fooled ya, he is the father all along.” This was a decent and lovely ending, but I wished my brain had known from the start what was going to happen, and maybe the clues were there and I just glossed over them. I think if I would’ve been better prepared, I would not be so angry at the scenes from the present. I would’ve felt a lot better if Min-chae referred to Ko Yu-rim as auntie or something. I can understand first loves are not always endgame and can remain a part of a lovely memory/time, but friendships that are outgrown kind of make me sadder:( Unless, I totally screwed that up too and they are still friends?

-Business Proposal❤️: Loved it too because it was lots of fun!! And also another drama I looked forward to? I was excited for its 12 episode run, but after the finale I can see the appeal of a 16 episode drama, although honestly we only needed one more episode or two so shouldn’t dramas be 14 episodes instead?!! I thought it was trope-y and fun, but I was definitely not happy with how everything progressed. I would have loved to have seen more of the family falling for Tae-mu and not just his wallet. I would’ve loved for Harabuji to accept Ha-ri with his own words. I would have loved to see Ha-ri and Tae-mu openly date with the whole company knowing. I wouldn’t have minded a wedding or two. Or even seeing what kind of company Young-seo created. There are many things that could’ve been, but that is just my own greediness, since I had soooo much fun watching it that I just wanted an awesome ending.

It’s been a while since I have written on my fan wall! I always use my fan wall like a mini drama diary. I saw my last post, which was on Christmas, and I was saying how I wasn’t feeling so good. Sadly, I am still not feeling good. I am “okay”, but frustrated because I finally felt like I was going to overcome this since I made progress last year. But, your gut health really does influence your brain, and my anxiety has been really annoying this year because my stomach has been haywire and it’s all a circle that repeats itself. When I get like this, I tend to shut people out. Not on purpose, but more like I can’t even muster up the energy to do what I like. I always want to comment and chat, but it always gets hard to express myself when my mind is all jumbled. And it gets harder when I stay away for a while. But, like I said, I use Dramabeans as a mini diary for myself. I sometimes like to go back and see my 1-2 sentences I have on a drama I watched. It’s April already, I haven’t watched much, but I have enjoyed what I have watched:
-Extracurricular (late 2021)⭐️: Very different from anything I’ve seen, which makes it interesting to watch because you don’t know what is going to happen. I took my time watching this just because it was intense.
-Our Beloved Summer❤️: Caught up so I wouldn’t get spoiled with the finale. I enjoyed it and definitely have lots of opinions on it. It was cute, but I don’t think it’s rewatchable for me.
-You Are My Spring❤️: I heard it was good and I saw the cast, so I had to watch it. I really enjoyed watching it and liked it very much. They were a very cute couple and I liked the ending, but I needed a little bit more oomph.
-Beyond Evil❤️: I really enjoyed this one, especially because I watched it with my sister. It took us forever to finish it because we could never coordinate, but it was still exciting. I will have to ask her what she thought now that we finished it.
-Happiness❤️❤️: Love, love, love! I really enjoyed this one! I kind of knew what I was going into, but not really, so I was very pleasantly surprised by how the story progressed and how everything happened. This is the drama I keep recommending to people even when they don’t ask me, lol.
-More Than Blue: The Series (Taiwanese)⭐️: Apparently this is a movie that has been remade in other countries, but I didn’t know. Netflix just recommended it to me and I had nothing to watch so I watched it. So,so sad, but good. It made sense, but it didn’t. I don’t think I’ll see the movies, just because the drama made it look real and I don’t think I could get that feeling from a 2-hour movie.

Welcome back, I hope DB will be a place of sustenance for you once again. And I sure hope you can feel better soon. This gut stuff is really amazing, a friend’s mom started taking a probiotic (on drs advice) and her chronic sinus infections went away.

      Hi
You popped up on the beanies page so I had a look and found this post and wondered if you had found a solution because its not good when gut health is all over the place. Have you looked into Functional Medicine as a treatment plan? Practitioners look at the whole person and environment and use food and supplements as the solution. Depending on your location you should be able to find out about them on a Google search or via the Functional Medicine Institute.
      All the best.

Hi! Thanks for stopping by and commenting:)
My gut health is still all over the place, but I am getting treated by a naturopath and it’s still early, but I did like everything we have discussed and are working on. I have gone through a lot of pain because of my gut, so I’m definitely trying to get it treated because I want to enjoy my 30s! What’s crazy is that earlier this week someone else recommended me Functional Medicine as well!! I have gone through so many doctors and have tried sooo many things to feel better and in one week, two people recommend the same thing. I will definitely keep that in mind if I don’t get anywhere with this new doctor I’m seeing. Thanks again for looking out😊 Beanies are the best!!

So happy to hear you got a naturopath involved. I hope all goes well and you can get your health optimised and get your joy back. Two recommendations in one week! I love those kinds of coincidences. It just goes to show being open about what’s going on in your life sometimes pays off.

I am loving the Beanie community too. I used to pop over for the recaps and it was by chance I started reading the comments and that was it I signed up this month and haven’t looked back. The K drama crew are my people and bring me so much joy because I can finally discuss dramas with other people. It’s the main reason I am sticking with watching live when I prefer to binge watch. I can’t believe that it’s only this year I am noticing the K drama community online!

I live in the serious world of psychotherapy and have been looking at the link between physical and mental health. I looked at training as a naturopath and eventually decided on functional medicine hence my recommendation. I am in the early stages of training due to work and study clashes but hopefully will be able to complete the training and offer a more rounded service for my clients in the future.
Would be good to keep in touch and hear the good news when you get to the other side. We know these are not quick fixes but relief when it comes is much appreciated.

Thank you for your kind thoughts!

I was a lurker for a while too, and when they made the fan wall, that’s when I started commenting. I love talking dramas, but I’m not so good at writing about it, so I mostly read what others have to say and nod along, lol. I’ve been really busy lately so live watching has been on the back burner, but I had to watch My Liberation Notes, since the cast was great. Still haven’t been able to comment on it, but it’s still nice to read.

I hope that all your future endeavors go well! Fighting! I will definitely be hanging around here and hope to see you around as well!! 🙂

Yes live watching is hard waiting on subtitled versions and finding places to access them but I Iove the banter.

I know what you mean about being active online when the busyness of life kicks in I wake up at stupid o’clock so have a lot of time to kill when everyone else is enjoying their sleep over here so that helps me to catch up and share thoughts.
Take care of yourself and I will see you around ☺️
