What are you watching beanies?

I’m thinking of starting Alchemy of Souls while waiting for Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Taec’s Drama and I’m pretty sure there’s another drama i flagged on Netflix but my list is hiding from me now.

Right now I’m just watching random Insider & Jinxed at First clips on YT.

Alchemy is pretty darn fun so far. The first episode was inevitably a little heavy on the “tell, not show” side with all the in-world rules and players to establish, but the second episode took off like a comet. Jung So-min and Lee Jae-wook are really bringing the comedy and chemistry. If you wait until Sunday, you could binge the first four and then decide whether to stick with it.

Aww thanks.. i saw the clips that’s why I thought it may be fun. Not usually a fan of sageuk, fantasy or its combo but nothing else is grabbing my interest right now.

AoSouls, Link, It’s Beautiful Now, Yu Mi 2, and The Guest.

I think you should start Souls, It’s really fun!

I would give Jinxed at first sight a miss and binge watch after it finishes airing as it has been a bit unsettled in these first few episodes it’s hard to tell what genre is main focus. Have you considered Why her if you like law dramas or do you want something light?

Give AoS a go (I’ve rewatched the first week twice now), and worst comes it’ll just be an interesting time pass while you’re waiting I suppose. I’m also watching Jinxed, Link and just started Miracle (on Viki, some fluffy looking idol-love triangle drama with SF9’s Chani and Hwiyoung) and impatiently waiting for Minamdang to drop.

Jinxed is certainly an interesting premise, but Link & AoS take the cake for me so far in terms of the best dramas on air. Need to start Yumi’s Cells 2 but I still haven’t finished S1 😭 Was also contemplating starting Money Heist Korea but unsure, I was a bit so-so on the og series.

I usually like fantasy sageuk but I’m struggling with Alchemy. The writing is just really lacking. But if you can overlook that, the show seems to be great in all other aspects.

I forgot to recommend Welcome to Wedding to Hell (it’s on Netflix NA). If you like a light, old-school romantic comedy, then it is your ticket.
