This show reminds me of an episode of Jealousy Incarnate where there was a test for announcer job, the ml told the fl that there are times during the news broadcast that they might be editting an item or whatever and it is not ready yet and they will cue you to kill time, you will have to basically talk your head off convincingly until the news item is ready.
This is exactly how I feel about Beyond Evil 😂 I keep imagining the PD saying uh uh, the script is late, just kill some time convincingly 😂
It is just two men glaring and snapping at each other incessantly. The dialogue is either repetitive or completely irrelevant. If it is relevant, or if there is a reason why someone is suddenly shocked by a statement repeated 4 times already, the audience is kept so much in the dark that nothing hits where it should for me.
I’m continuing this show only because I’m not in the mood for anything else right now, and I’m not hating it yet. I’ll see how long it lasts.
My gosh, this is what i felt when i watched Beyond Evil at first. When male leads repeatedly saying things while glaring i was like “but you’ve said that for idk…. 5333 times??” and all they do is glaring at each other. Also there was never any proper investigation.
I’m holding it for now, but will start it from the beginning (idk when) to see if i miss something, or if my opinion will stay the same

To me Midnight one of the mysteries in BEYOND EVIL is, what happened to Joo-won’s beautiful blue Camaro? All of a sudden it was gone. I was as shocked as he was when it got egged.
