So I’m at my school’s library studying, super casual, and this guy enters the room and he’s looking for a computer and he was going to sit in front of me, BUT at that exact same time I started smiling like a dumb dumb because Chef and Webtoon writer are going to interact, so the dude was like “no, not here” and walked away to the other side of the room.

I’m sitting in such a bad position (more like laying instead of sitting) so when I look up to the computer’s screen it could seem like I’m looking at the person in front of me….

This is all Love is for Suckers fault. The funny part is that I was rolling my eyes the entire time episode until that scene.

I would say I’m gonna stop watching dramas while doing homework but we all know that ain’t happening. I’m just going to blame my ChefxWriter ship for being too adorable.

    Something similar to this happened to me at university – Not with a drama but for reasons I forget – possibly after reading a text message – I was sitting in class and smiling and I accidentally made weirdly long smiling eye contact with the guy sitting opposite me in the lecture theatre (the seats were in a big U so he was all the way on the other side of the room – I did not initially realise I was looking straight at him) and then we spent the rest of semester avoiding each other 😅

    I agree that chef and writer are adorable. I want good things for them.

      I’m giving my crush up. Its too stressful! So. Y’all. The woman I was going to see Mark Tuan with is friends with HG in real life. Now, she’s a big kdrama fan and comes here –to db–and lurks. She doesn’t have a username or anything but she reads the wall and recaps. I couldn’t get a bead on how often she does such and she doesn’t know my username. But how much effort would it take to realize I’m me? I’ve talked about moving to MN to work in a library for pities sake! So, there’s only one MASSIVELY ATTRACTIVE man who works there—her good buddy HG. So. I can’t handle it, friends! Has she read my posts? I don’t know! Probably! Has she told her good friend HG? I DONT KNOW! IS IT STRESSING ME OUT?! Yes. Yes it is.

And BTW, I’m following my own daughter’s high school saga right now with her and math genius among other long time friends and now some new kids at her school, and can I say, I don’t even know why I’m bothering with kdramas right now. 🤣

          I love that she has called in an expert in these things, too many young people rely on equally ‘clueless in life experience, ruled by emotions’ friends and wonder why their advice sucks and often makes matters worse. Good luck on your mission.

        That would be the perfect K drama story I can see the wedding scene where she is giving the speech as maid of honour discussing how she was the one who made it happen. She stumbled across this person’s fan wall on a KD site and the story she was reading reminded her of what had happened at work a couple of weeks back. When she realised this was the person on the site she remembered that her male friend had suddenly started to ask about K pop and she had fobbed him off with BTS as a intro not realising he would use it in a conversation that got him roasted. 🤣

          Well today I’m going to have to muster up some courage from somewhere. I saw Peter Cincotti in concert last night and have held literally every single person at work hostage for 15 mins (AT LEAST) while I squeed my excitement over how amazing the show was. It would be weird to squee at everyone EXCEPT him. So I gotta squee at him.

            I squeed at him. I did it. I went up and said I think you’re the only one in this place who hasn’t heard my Peter Cincotti story. And he stopped what he was doing and asked what happened. And I vomited my Peter Cincotti love all over him. He laughed because I am a ginormous nerd and then I scurried away. Shutting down this crush is not as easy as I would like.

    There is no way I could watch a drama in public especially not Love is for suckers😬 I was ready to climb in the screen to take out Joonho when he literally used Jiwan as a human shield by pushing her TOWARDS the knife wielding man. Even if I am quiet my face is shouting out my expressions so once I regained conscious awareness of my surroundings I would end up going over to explain what was really happening and that would lead to them feeling harassed by the weird person who was mumbling and pulling faces at them but then claiming it was due to a tv show 🤣

    I would then have to go over to explain to the person what was happening

      Oh, I feel you.
      I talked a lot. And at the beginning it was fine, because there where some annoying freshman having a freaking picnic in there or something. They were super loud so no one could hear my whispering, but when they were gone, it was so quiet I felt like everyone could hear me. I still kept talking tho, I was way too invested in the show to care about anything.

      But there was a moment when I kind of started throwing punches or something, Idk, but it was a really weird choice of movements. It was embarrassing as hell. I totally forgot I was in a public place and started acting as if I was watching the show on my bed.

      Meh. I’m graduating this year so wtv 🤣

          For me there’s nothing weirder than watching a show in silence tbh.
          I have a friend that doesn’t talk or move while watching dramas. She doesn’t even change her facial expression.

          Everyone in my family overreacts while watching shows, so I find my friend scary sometimes. 🤣
