Kim Nam Gil as Song Ha Young in the drama Through the Darkness. His acting is simply magnetic, and I loved that it was a male character showing such a quiet and reserved strength. His superpower and Achilles heel was how porous he allowed himself to be towards the people he was trying to understand (and profile) and he had to learn how not to be hurt by this level of sensitivity.
Honourable mention goes to Rain as Cha Young Min in Ghost Doctor. I’d never come across Rain before (somehow!), but I found that he had such presence onscreen and I liked the growth his character underwent.
