DAY1: 19 years old Na Hee Do (25-21). She was awesome. Her brightness gave me so much energy. She was so brave, strong and kind. Everything she did made me want to be better. Everything she said comfort me.
And her timing was perfect tbh. I watched the show when I was having a hard time so she really made me feel better and gave me energy. DAY2: Jung Myeong Seok (Attorney Woo). 50% because he was a really good mentor 50% because he was played by Kang Ki Young. DAY3: Chang Hee and Doo Hwan/ Woo to the Young to the Woo, Dong to the Geu to the Ra Mi.
DAY4 – Greatest disappointment: the drama that could have been but wasn’t: Our Beloved Summer (first half of 2022) and Life is for Suckers (second half of 2022).
I had similar problems with both shows.
1. I couldn’t stand the non existent communication between the leads of both shows. The FLs spent 90% of the time hiding their feeling or being confused, and the MLs job was to look pitiful (only Woong did the job well. I totally dislike Jae Hoon, I felt bad for him only once).
I mean, they solved none of their problems. It barely made sense for them to be together. And their relationships didn’t look that healthy or stable.
2. Nope, I don’t even want to talk about how these shows ruined my characters. I really liked Yeo Reum and Woong at the beginning.
But all the cool things about Woong became awful wrong thanks to the trauma plot: his relationship with his parents, his lifestyle, everything. And let’s not talk about his dependency issues. I don’t remember well, but he only could sleep if Yeon Soo was there, right?
In Yeo Reum case, I haven’t watched the final episode so I’m not sure, but I always felt like the writer was trying to make YR a victim or something. Like this pure and innocent soul that cares to much for others to the point where she falls from balconies, breaks up with her bf and quits her job to protect others.
It always felt like the writer was screaming to us that Chae Ri should learn from her. But for me Yeo Reum is just… *sight*
Like half of her “sacrifices” could’ve been prevented if she have made the right decisions beforehand.
3. Such a waste of secondary characters. Chae Ri, NJ, Sang Woo, Joon and Ji Wan, etc. They all deserve better that have their story lines by the annoying drama of the main leads. They all deserve their own show, with a nice love story and happy ending.
Oh, I know LifS has a lot of problems. That show is a total mess, OBS can’t compare. But a lot of the things I dislike about LifS remind me of OBS so…

🤣 that’s really funny. It made sense to end there but a few of us get caught out so thought I would check. Good points made for both.
