The situation is not calming down. To think that just a few days ago, Siwon was still the darling golden child of SM and SuJu, and now, he’s fallen from the public’s grace. Life is unpredictable.

    what happened?

From what I read, apparently his (family’s) dog bit their neighbor (also a public figure I think, some CEO) while it was unleashed and the man sadly died from following complications.
The sister of the deceased has released a press statement about Siwon repeatedly coming to them to apologize and attending the funeral in tears. She says they have forgiven him and his family and won’t be pressing charges.

      That’s all I know.

And yes, life sure is unpredictable. Siwon’s the last SuJu member I’d ever imagine scandalized and out of the public’s favour. Although I read somewhere the dog had bitten others before, so maybe not that unpredictable? Dogs that bite really shouldn’t be walking around without a leash and here they usually have to be put down if they’ve bitten a person.

Oh boy. Sounds like a terrible, terrible accident that no one could have predicted. 🙁

Seeing as it bit people before this happened and yet they still kept taking it outside unleashed, I’d say it’s pretty predictable that someone would get bitten again. But yes, a horrible incident and I hope they’re forced to do something about the dog to prevent further incidents.

I personally find dogs terrifying so I don’t even know what to say.

Aww that’s a shame, I hope you’ll become less afraid of them in the future. I used to be a bit afraid of them but now it’s only if they’re not controlled properly by their owner. I wish it was mandatory to learn a little about dog psychology before purchasing one, because both dogs and people suffer too much from ignorant owners.

I’m a cat person and once a street dog literally chased after our car. It ran parallel to our window barking madly and I was so terrified that it has never really left me. 😀

I’m terrified of dogs as well. A few years ago, my brother took his dog out to pee. I’m not sure if the neighbor’s door was already open or if it was opened only for a few seconds, but their bulldog ran out, sprinted across the lawn and attacked my brother’s Pomeranian. The neighbor did come running out, but my brother had to pry the bulldog’s mouth open because it all happened in a matter of seconds. I know people don’t want to believe the worst about their animals, but it is so sad that someone lost their life. I don’t know what to say either. It just breaks my heart.

it happens because dogs are territorial and sometimes something triggers the animal to attack.

oh shit. but that is by no means something you can predict or prevent, is it.
can´t they let the ones involved handle it not turn it into one of their “scandals”.
