So I got layed off today and feel awful. My soul is craving something happy with tons of cuteness. Does anyone have some recommendations?

Oh no! Dramas are the perfect remedy, though. My go-to cotton candy dramas are Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo and Shopping King Louis. I hope you can find something to cheer you up!

Oh no! I am sorry! *sending hugs and kisses*

I dunno about recommendations.. I usually suggest Shopping King Louis and Weightlifting Fairy for cuteness, but you could also go for Liar and his Lover..

Thanks Obsessedmuch. I guess it’s the perfect time to try out Liar and his Lover. Everyone really seemed to love it.

My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, Tomorrow Cantabile, Dream High, are all the super cute ones that come to mind in this moment. I’m so sorry this happened to you!

For fluff you could also try Panda and Hedgehog, She Was Pretty, You’re Beautiful (of these You’re Beautiful is prolly the most fluffy). Let me know what you end up watching! Talking korean drama nonsense is often a therapeutic way to take your mind off the real life drama, at least it is for me. ^_^

aww sorry to hear that! I’ve been through it…for lightheartedness I recommend Cinderella and Four Knights, Strongest Deliveryman, and One Percent of Something

If chocolates don’t work then binge Strong Woman DBS or TLAHL. And we all know that the fan made videos on YouTube are always great to make our day bright. Hope you’re feeling well by now.

Aw, that sucks 🙁 I hope some of the suggestions here will manage to cheer you up!

Seconding My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, that one is super cute!
There’s also Playful Kiss and To The Beautiful You, both of which were all about the cute, it’s as fluff as it gets lol. They’re older and you kind of have to turn off your brain to watch them, but if you’re feeling down in the dumps, they might do the trick?

If you’re up for some variety, there’s also something like New Journey to the West Season 3, which was loads of fun and brightened up a lot of bad days for me while it aired 🙂

Hugs to you Nelly! Hug your parents, pets, and bestfriends. That’s what I do when I’m down.

The recommendations of the other beanies here are wonderful. If you’re into old-school KDrama, I liked Goong, My Girl, and Coffee Prince.

I’m so sorry to see your news @nelly I didn’t spot it last week. Why do they always do this just before Christmas? My doppelgänger watch was Bride of the Century.

I’ve been away a fair bit since the start of September so I was intermittent on Dramabeans. There’s still a lot to do but I’m pleased to be at home for the holidays and our visitors aren’t arriving until after Christmas. Bride of the Century had everything: the doppelgängers, crazy chaebol mums, a family curse, possible incest and even a ghost but they amazingly pulled it off!

Thats great. Travelling is the best! Hope you have a lovely Christmas with your visitors.
My mom really loved Bride of the Century, but to me it sounded extremely makjang. Guess I have to try it out now, since you also like it 🙂

I definitely think it was makjang which is not my thing but somehow it worked. Hahaha. Maybe I was just in the mood for it.
