Still watching INAR. This drama is soooo cheesy that I cringe a lot! But I shout with laughter a lot too. And it feels so fresh and happy.

I love when there are many veteran actors in a drama. The way they can play off of each other, read between the lines of the script, and reflect a director’s hand is never ever the same as the relatively newer ones.
That is one of the main reasons I loved JI a LOT because the veterans were many and fantastic.
Two Cops had this too. Actors completely comfortable in their roles and with each other.
In INAR the scenes that have both Yoo Seung Ho and Uhm Ki Joon look sooo comfortable and effortless that I miss them the moment the scene ends. They can pull off the cheesiest lines and still look like a prince in his kingdom!

glad that you are enjoying it…

i wanted to watch to this drama so badly but couldn’t finish and dropped after 4 epi…..as it was way tooooo cheesy to handle for my liking and i really doubt i’d ever pick it up again.

I have to confess I fast forward many many cheesy lines! I can’t watch them at all! But the cheesyness lessens after a few eps. Or I got used to it 😄 I don’t know. Apart from that, and the incredible over-sharings of YSH’s character, I’m loving the drama.

Trust me when I say that once the angst arrives (and you bet that there’s still angst in a rom-com, because this is a K-drama… angst is a MUST) you’ll be wishing and praying that you had more cheese and cringe-y moments

I’m glad to hear that. I love angst-filled rom-coms. They are something the Koreans do exceptionally well.

You’re right!! In recent years, angst in K-dramas have been done and handled pretty well, compared to the angst (which turned into makjang) that was given to us and handled in dramas 10-15 years ago, even 20 years ago XD
