hey my fellow beanies,
I’ve been out of the drama world for past few days and I want myself back in. Can someone please suggest some good dramas (any genre) some other dramas not suggested here in db.

    I echo @purplesheesh with Misty!

The Great Seducer (romance) is about to air on Monday. It looks like a Korean version of Cruel Intentions, but I think they are touting it as a Dangerous Liaisons for high school. I also think Cruel Intentions was a remake of that as well though.

Live (slice of life/human/Misaeng-ish) looks all sorts of good. It just aired but it doesn’t look like anyone is broadcasting it online yet.

Children of a Lesser God (creepy/quirky/Sherlocky) is also great, but it also isn’t covered online yet.

Grand Prince (sageuk romance) is pretty good as well. You can watch this one live on TV Chosun or on Viki.

My Ajusshi (romantic comedy/slice of life) is about to air in a week. This one is pretty high on my radar. It looks great and funny (but not a comedy).

aha! I actually just googled The Great Seducer and it HAD been giving me “Cruel Intentions” vibes (ah, the 90s…) ~!
I’m not sure how I feel about the show though… Reese Witherspoon was “annoyingly” gullible & innocent in the movie and kdramas just have a way of making innocence = “born yesterday with no internet or otherworldy access to information + perpetual deer-caught-in-the-headlight looks”…

or am I judging it too quick?

Just saw the first episode today and I like it. They have all the same types of characters from Cruel intentions including the amazingly gullible and innocent Selma Blair character which I completely forgot about.

I was okay with all the characters of Cruel Intentions because I knew someone who was like each character.
