I’m in the mood for makjang lately. Any suggestions? I’m down for 24 episodes but can’t do more than that. Five Fingers still has me reeling.

I don’t really know of any short makjangs, most makjangs are dailies or weekend dramas and are often over 50 eps.

Maybe my sense of makjang is off. I consider Mask, Five Fingers, and Bread, Love, Dreams to be makjangs?

or I just don’t watch too many of those since I usually steer clear of those because there’s much more talk about their story lines and they seem like too melodramatic for me, and I do end up watching daily dramas that turn out to be very makjang because I don’t find much info about them before starting them. So long story short my makjang meter is probably not up to snuff since I avoid when I can. lol

Not makjang, but have you seen Just Between Lovers? 16 episodes melo/romance… beautifully done.

Our Husband Oh Jak Doo is currently popular among a small group of beanies… the mom is totally makjang-esque.

I might have to try it again. At the time, I just couldn’t with the mom so I dropped it. I’ve since circled back to makjangs. I can usually get one in and then I’m done for like 6 months.

I remember starting Just Between Lovers and it wasn’t Makjang and all but it made me cry in the first few episodes so I dropped it. I have to watch it during an upswing time, if I watch sad-ish dramas when I’m feeling down it just brings me down more.
This comment makes me sound a little depressed but I’m generally not ^^ it’s just that my close family member who I lived with the past 10 years had just died and I was sensitive at the time when it aired, so I decided to leave this drama for a happier moment.
