How about Train to Gisung? Maybe a scenario like this:
The population in Seoul gets parasitic infection after eating contaminated jajangmyeon. The parasites attack their brains and turns them into zombies. Those not yet infected try desperately to escape to Gisung.
and a community of nine-tailed foxes who has infiltrated human society running everything loses all their pawns and has to actually put their hands on the dirty work. They get infected too but it only gives them bad diarrhea, which makes fighting zombies very difficult.
